We call on the UK Government to urgently help families affected by the Nepal disaster. Many UK nationals have been lost in the flood. Support is needed to find and identify loved ones lost, bring loved ones home with dignity, provide financial aid and consular assistance to families.
Provide immediate diplomatic and logistical support to help families find and repatriate loved ones.
Establish emergency funds for recovery and transportation.
Ensure embassy in Nepal is resourced to coordinate with local authorities and humanitarian organisations.
Provide counselling and bereavement support for families coping with unimaginable loss.
Families deserve closure, dignity, and compassion during this time of tragedy.
We urge Parliament to act immediately.
