Rejected petition: Add chronic mental health illness with excessive distress to Assisted Dying bill

Having suffered from chronic mental health issues since a very young age, which have been treatment resistant and cause significant distress to me for over 40 years, I would like people who are in the same situations as myself to be included as people who could request access to be allowed to die.
This would be for people who are unable to function for significant periods of time due to their mental health, who have explored over many years a large number of treatments,& who have stuck to any medication schedules.
Excluding one off acute mental health issues or anyone under 25.
There would need to be a threshold of numbers of acute mental health episodes while on treatment for the option of assisted death to be available, maybe a proportion of life and not a fixed arbitrary number.
