Open petition: Review care pathways for women with suspected endometriosis

Created by charlie quest
Closes on

We call on the UK Government to review care pathways for women with persistent symptoms of suspected endometriosis. They should be given a clear pathway to appropriate specialist care, further investigation where clinically appropriate and ongoing symptom management.

Endometriosis can cause severe, life-changing symptoms, yet many women face long waits, repeated appointments and investigations without a clear diagnosis or plan. When investigations are inconclusive, women can be left without support despite continuing to suffer. We want the NHS to provide a clear pathway, including specialist review, further investigation where appropriate and symptom management while women wait. An inconclusive investigation should not mean the end of a woman’s care.
