Rejected petition: Review outdated legislation of financial contributions for single Fathers

Review and change the current outdated legislation set by Child Maintenance Service for single Fathers who provide and care for their children, by taking into account their required financial outgoings to fairly determine the monthly amount they pay to the other parent.
The Child Maintenance Service do not currently take into account the required outgoings of a Father when calculating the amount owed to the other parent. A single Father has to move out the family home, re-build his life, being an active and present Father to his child/children, provide for them when in his care, yet expected to pay a huge amount of his earnings to the other parent, forcing him into financial difficulty. With more Fathers having an active role, this law needs to be changed.
