Startup founders in the UK often face Home Office processing delays, some exceeding 12 months for 8-week Innovator Founder visas. These extraordinary delays can force companies to cancel investor meetings, miss international launches, and pause critical operations, threatening business survival. We want the Government to enforce statutory deadlines, introduce mandatory progress updates for delayed files, and establish a dedicated business help desk to protect UK innovation and economic growth.
