Review and modernise the UK education system to meet the needs of the 21st century. Develop a more inclusive approach for neurodiverse learners, broaden measures of achievement, and equip young people with the practical, digital and social skills needed for life and work.
We call for an evidence-based review of curriculum, examinations, SEND support, life skills education and pathways into employment. The aim should be to create a more inclusive, flexible and future focused system that recognises different ways of learning, values a wider range of talents and better prepares young people for modern life. The review should challenge the one-size-fits-all model that has existed for decades and explore flexible, personalised approaches to learning and achievement.
