Stimulant laxatives are abused regularly by people with eating disorders and are too widely available for those who struggle to buy them. If abused for long enough they have permanent lasting affects.
As someone who has seen a loved one abuse stimulant laxatives. It scares me too see how widely available and unregulated there ability to be purchased is. For example it is possible to buy a packet of 100 laxatives at a time. There is no limit to the number of packets that can be brought at once either.
