The UK already restricts land purchases linked to Russia’s illegal occupation; the same standard must apply consistently to all unlawful occupations.

On 8 September, the Government announced that it will ban advertising or promotion of land and property in illegal settlements. It said it will also take action on services, creating new designation powers to go after individuals and companies that support, facilitate or profit from illegal settlement activity.
