Replace the Tourist Tax with a provision directing some of the existing 20% VAT revenue from hotels to benefit local areas. The hotel VAT rate of 20% is currently higher than in some other countries.

We believe that levying the Tourist Tax would only increase costs to hard working families on holiday in this country.
