Rejected petition: make minimum wage equivalent to 40% of the boss's wage

As we have noticed, minimum wage is lower than if should be. People should be able to live on a minimum wage, but we also don't need the ceos and bosses exploiting the workers.
If people were paid an eqivalent of atleast 40% of the boss's wages, that would majority of the time mean people can live freely without having to worry about budgeting.
Look at America for example, people are paid minimum wage and end up on the street despite having a job. I don't want that type of situation to be happening here in the UK.
