Rejected petition: Reverse The Ban on Phones in Schools

Rejected on

I Believe the UK Government should reverse the ban on Phones in all Schools in the UK. Phones in schools has worked fine for many years. If we cant trust young people with a small electronic device in Schools with the right rules and around it then the youth are going to be in serious trouble.

I still agree with the obvious no phones while in lessons but in breaks and lunches and occasionally if pupils are proud of a piece of work they have produced they should be allowed to show their parent/guardian. The government need to look themselves in the mirror and release how clueless this ban was in the first place and how they are just losing the backing of future supporters further down the line.
Thank you.
