Open petition: Require exam boards to provide resources to new A-level/BTEC students & teachers
Created by Isabel Smoothy
Closes on
We want the UK Government to require exam boards to provide accessible revision materials and mock papers for new first-year A-level and BTEC students, and clear communication with teachers about assessments, marking requirements and grade boundaries.
We are concerned that students studying new AS-level, A-level and BTEC qualifications can face a significant disadvantage because there are fewer revision resources, mock papers and past papers available while they are being introduced. Teachers can also lack clear information from exam boards about assessment and marking expectations. All A-level students should have access to basic, free online revision materials and sufficient practice papers, with clear communication between exam boards and teachers.
