Rejected petition: Maintain The Union

Rejected on

The Government must not give in to the independence parties of the devolved nations (Scotland, N.Ireland, and Wales). Promote unity and disregard calls for "independence".
Keep together what is left of our history and the crucial United Kingdom which had been since 1707.

The collapse of the Union would be a detrimental military and economic catastrophe. The UK which has stood for centuries is being threatened by separatist traitors which cannot be allowed to continue. We plea the Government to maintain the Union and defend us BRITISH from those who wish to divide us.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We are not sure exactly how you would like the UK Government to "maintain the union" and promote unity amongst the constituent nations that make up the United Kingdom.

You may wish to create a new petition that clearly outlines the measures you would like the UK Government or Parliament to implement in order to prevent referendums calling for independence from the United Kingdom.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
