Rejected petition: App to be created where all people can have a say on policies that affect us.

Rejected on

We need a fairer society for all.
People need opportunity to be listened to and their opinions truly heard so that we can all shape society.
Governments would not carry responsibility for unpopular decisions if we all had a say.
Time for real change.
True democracy.

Majority of people feel not listened to, let's make a difference and be the generation that changes how the UK government works.
A few people should not be making decisions that affect all.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We don't know what sort of app you might be referring to here: a lot of what you talk about in your petition is already possible through the medium of Government consultations, lobbying your MP, submitting evidence to select committees, discussions on political websites/social media, or even using the e-petitions system.

Perhaps if you are referring to a form of digital executive democracy whereby through an app the public can make decisions on policy you might wish to submit a petition making that point more clearly.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
