The government use UK Emergency Alerts to quickly notify of missing children and vulnerable persons.
The government has an emergency alert system to warn the nation of important events such as adverse weather etc, via a message to their mobile phones. This proposal requests that this system, or something similar is used/introduced to send alerts of missing young children and vulnerable persons in areas, increasing awareness and chances that the person will be found.
Why was this petition rejected?
