Open petition: Seek to introduce a UK-led humanitarian aid corridor to Oleshky in Ukraine
Created by Yelizaveta Crofts
Closes on
We call on the UK Government to call for the establishment of and lead a humanitarian corridor to provide aid and relief to Oleshky and neighbouring communities in the Kherson region in Ukraine.
“Human safari” FPV drone attacks that target civilians in the Kherson region violate international humanitarian law, and attacks have left around 2,000 inhabitants trapped in occupied Oleshky, which is essentially besieged.
Systematic “human safari” hunting of civilians sets a terrifying precedent. The UK should use the available diplomatic channels to push for immediate humanitarian relief of Oleshky and surrounding areas. We urge the UK Government to provide assistance to victims in Oleshky and its neighbouring communities in Kherson.
