Rejected petition: Stop the proposed Internet levy fee

Rejected on

Stop the £11 monthly Internet levy replacing TV licence fee before it begins. It has been suggested that even if you do not watch TV you will still be charged .It has also been suggested that this levy will 'capture households who presently avoid paying a TV licence fee' do they mean pensioners

Stopping the proposed replacement of a TV licence by introducing an Internet levy charge of £11 per month. This will add 130 to our annual bills. This will obviously go up each year .What of households who are exempt from TV licence fee like pensioners will they too be expected too pay this fee.
