Rejected petition: Indoor Lincoln Skatepark for skateboard, BMX, Inline skates and Scooters

Rejected on

We call for a new indoor skatepark in Lincoln (LN1), potentially at RAF Scampton, supporting skateboards, BMX, inline skates and scooters. Building on Skellingthorpe’s success, it would provide year-round exercise, socialising and community space, with guidance from the NGB skateboardGB

The local skateparks show a strong local demand, bringing all ages and genders together to exercise, socialise and build skills. An indoor park would provide year-round activity, with paid entry creating a sustainable business opportunity while serving Lincoln and surrounding communities.
