Open petition: Ban the production, sale and distribution of pornography

We call on Government to legislate to make the production, distribution, sale and possession of pornographic material a criminal offence, closing loopholes that allow explicit content to circulate freely, and to fund enforcement and support for those harmed and addicted to pornography.

We believe pornography is obscene, lascivious material that is a danger to the foundations of society and must be wholly abolished. We think this trade has broken marriages, stolen children's innocence, fed sexual violence and trafficking, leaving deep and lasting wounds psychologically, physically & spiritually. We hold this to be a grievous sin before Almighty God, and that a nation which tolerates it invites His judgement. We ask with Government to hold this evil to full account under the law.
