Rejected petition: Stop punishments on children who do not complete homework.

Rejected on

Stop schools from punishing children who do not complete homework as it is not a legal requirement to do it. Children do enough hours at school to learn. Children should not miss breaks/ dinners, or recive any punishment for not completing something that is not a legal requirement.

To stop children being punished for not completing homework. Missing play time and breaks is not acceptable for not doing something that is not a legal requirement to do. Children need regular breaks and having them deducted due to not completing homework is not acceptable. Children do enough hours in the week to learn what is required. Family time is important and no child should be punished for not completing the extra work at home. Even teachers are now given PPE time during school hours.
