Rejected petition: Ban unnecessary school uniform rules.
Rejected on
I agree with school uniform, but rules on skirt length, jewellery and tucked-in shirts should not be the school’s choice. It should be the choice of who wears it. Students should have more freedom during normal school days, while reasonable restrictions can remain for formal or important occasions.
Uniform is an understandable thing, so i'm not saying we should completely abolish it as I understand why it is a thing. However, other rules that are linked to the uniform should be banned. Furthermore, skirt lengths for those who wear skirts should be the choice of who is wearing it. Same goes for tucked in shirts, jewellery, sleeves rolled up, shoe types ect. The schools that have these unnecessary rules should not. Students should wear their uniform how they want on normal days in school.
