Rejected petition: Allow Premier League Football To Play At 3PM On Saturday’s
Rejected on
Get rid of the 3pm blackout for football matches. Keep 3pm football matches broadcasting on Sky Sports
This Petition is to get rid of the 3pm Blackout for Football matches. People pay money for sky sports & to watch football and for us to not be able to watch a football match just because it is on at 3pm is not fair. I think getting rid of the 3pm blackout would make a lot of people happy
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
Decisions about when to hold and broadcast football matches are a matter for the FA, the Premier League and the Football League, and broadcasters, not the Government or House of Commons.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
