Open Provide funding to increase access to learning support assistants at university

University can be fun and yet challenging, especially for adults who have a range of learning difficulties. We want the Government to provide funding so that everyone who needs a learning support assistant (LSA) is able to get one.

We think current levels of Disabled Students' Allowance are insufficient. While there is already support in place, we think this can be lacking and cause people to drop out due to stress and lack of support. LSAs are amazing in helping people pass their courses, work on assignments and provide 1:1 support for lessons. Greater access to LSAs might make a huge difference for SEN people.
