Rejected petition: Call for a UK General Election Now.
Rejected on
We call on the UK Government to call a snap General Election at the earliest lawful opportunity. The public should have the chance to vote on the country’s direction, assess the Government’s record and decide who should form the next Government.
We call on the UK Government to call a snap General Election at the earliest lawful opportunity, in the public interest and to strengthen democratic accountability. Voters should have the opportunity to assess the Government’s record, consider its priorities and decide who should form the next Government. A General Election would give the public a direct and democratic opportunity to express its view on the country’s future.
