Open Dedicate one day a year where lights are turned off to see a clear night sky

Created by Kit Harris
Closes on

Have one day a year, when weather is clear, where all lights in non-essential buildings are switched off past a certain time across the country to allow people to enjoy a clear night sky.

Imagine how nice it would be to have a day in winter where everyone can get outside on a clear night and gaze at the sky together.
