Rejected petition: Superloop from Orpington to Bluewater
Rejected on
To bring a Superloop service from
Orpington to Bluewater .
This was discussed at the London Assembly in 2025.
But this was not brought forward.
During previous route consultations, proposals to extend express networks to Orpington were set aside. However we would like this to be reintroduced
We want a dedicated superloop service to run from Orpington to Bluewater using the existing 492 route via North cray Bexleyheath Crayford Dartford and Bluewater.
The 492 service from Sidcup to Bluewater only runs every 30 minutes.
If we had a superloop which could run every 12-15 minutes this would be better for passenger's a faster service as this would be a limited stop service .
And this will give Orpington a Superloop service it’s needs
