Rejected petition: Provide comprehensive statutory support for endometriosis sufferers.
Rejected on
We call on the UK Government to introduce a statutory framework providing healthcare funding, employment protections, a holistic care pathway, and robust financial support—including National Insurance and income tax relief models—for all individuals diagnosed with endometriosis.
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women in the UK. Ten-year diagnostic delays leave sufferers without legal or financial safety nets.
Statutory measures must:
• Healthcare: Funding for fast diagnosis, free prescriptions, and holistic care (physio, nutrition, pain management).
• Workplace: Recognise fluctuating conditions under the Equality Act 2010.
• Finance: Guarantee PIP access, create self-employed tax reliefs (Trading Allowance/Class 4 NICs), and enhance SSP.
End the decades of silent pain.
