Rejected petition: Stop the potential disbandment of Youth Parliament

Rejected on

Continue to fund Youth Parliament for the voices of the youth to continue being heard; not silenced by the disbandment Challenge/bring down the ages of the social media ban for under 14s to ensure freedom of viewing useful information posted on social media and political exploration stays avaliable.

If the Youth Parliament gets officially scrapped, this will lead to many bigger issues on top of what the members of Youth Parliament are already currently tackling,
for example climate change, the education system, mental health (and more).

These bigger issues will include the future generations staying politically neutral and uninterested due to lack of education and access online - by the time they come of voting age, (following the ban) people who must uphold our future will be clueless.
