Open petition: Mandatory minimum number of First Aid trained school staff at larger schools

Created by Aaron Lee Elcock
Closes on

We call on the Government to make it a mandatory requirement for all secondary schools with over 500 students to have a minimum of five first-aid trained staff present on site at all times to ensure student safety, reduce emergency response delays, and handle simultaneous medical incidents.

We call on the Department for Education to introduce a mandatory safety rule requiring all secondary schools that have over 500 students to have a minimum of five first-aid trained staff members on-site at all times. We believe requiring at least five trained staff ensures faster response times across large school buildings and guarantees student safety when multiple incidents happen at once.
