Rejected petition: Demand a General Election in Response to the National Emergency on Immigration

Rejected on

We demand that Parliament declare a national immigration emergency and immediately initiate a General Election to give the electorate a direct mandate on the nation’s borders and asylum policies, and to vote on a fresh mandate for border security, immigration policy, and national sovereignty.

Why this action is necessary: Pressure on Public Infrastructure: Unprecedented levels of immigration are placing unsustainable strain on local housing markets, the NHS, public transport, and school placements across communities nationwide.

Border Control and Public Safety: Current policies have failed to deter illegal channel crossings and manage net migration effectively, raising serious concerns regarding national security, public safety, terrorism and law enforcement resources.
