Rejected petition: Gosport says NO to illegal small boat migrant landings.
Rejected on
We call on the Government to rule out Gosport and Fort Blockhouse as sites for small-boat migrant disembarkation, arrivals, accommodation or processing, protecting local services, community safety, residents’ interests and strategically important Royal Navy facilities.
This petition calls on the Government to rule out Gosport & Fort Blockhouse as locations for small-boat migrant disembarkation, accommodation or processing. Gosport’s peninsula geography, pressure on local services & proximity to strategically important Royal Navy facilities raise concerns that must be properly considered. We seek a firm commitment to exclude these locations, full consultation with residents & transparent assessments of the potential impact on public services & community safety.
