We urge the government to fund research into PANS/PANDAS which can help to support clear, evidence-informed clinical guidance to help healthcare professionals identify, assess, and manage these conditions appropriately. EVERY child deserves timely diagnosis, treatment, and the chance to thrive.

These conditions can cause a rapid and devastating change in a child’s cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and physical functioning. Despite the serious impact these symptoms can have, recognition, diagnosis, and access to specialist care remains inconsistent and there is a lack of research available. Families can face significant barriers to obtaining timely assessment, information, and appropriate treatment, leaving many feeling isolated and unsupported.
