Rejected petition: Lower the hours for the u22 bus pass scheme
Rejected on
I would like the u22 free bus pass service hours to be reduced . I would like this to be from 7.30am to 5.30pm. Enough time to go & return from school safely. My own daughter & many other keep going on & off buses to areas there not allowed by there parents & not returning at a safe time.
This free pass is a great idea to get kids safely to & from school & helps us parents save a fortune but unfortunately kids have became very vulnerable with these pases jumping on & off buses to other areas they dont know or know anyone.sometimes not returning home at night or travelling through the night to much further away places doing drug runs as no one will question a child.also the hassle these kids cause on the buses is very stressful for the bus staff. Also Large gatherings in city
