Rejected petition: Pressure the National Trust to open more carparks to motor homes overnight
Rejected on
We ask the Government to put pressure on the National Trust to allow full members in self contained motorhomes to pay to park overnight in some of their more suitable carparks! Membership and payment should ensure the vast majority of people would respect the facility
Finding safe convenient overnight motorhome stops in winter is difficult!
The National trust owns over 500 carparks in the U.K. Most are in beautiful locations. They currently allow overnight parking in just 4. We propose that they allow members to pay for overnight parking, maximum stay 2 nights.
Those who pay to be members of the National Trust and are prepared to pay for overnight parking are not generally the sort to abuse the facility.
