Rejected petition Body Armour for Police and Working Dogs

This petition has been raised to request that the Government and Home Office provide ALL Police Dogs and Working Dogs with suitable Body Armour to protect them in the line of duty. Their handlers are all issued with Body Armour for their protection, and also horses are fitted with protection, so why shouldn't our dogs be protected. Police dogs are sent into volatile and dangerous situations, like the recent riots across the country where 5 dogs have already been injured, and perform their duty without hesitation. Other countries protect there dogs, so why shouldn't we ? The Body Armour is available to fit the dogs and let them perform there duty without hindrance of the Body Armour. Please provide ALL Police and Working Dogs with the Body Armour and Protect them.
