Rejected petition Hold a vote to decide the new leader of the Conservative Party

With one of the main reason of leaving the EU being the fact that we didn't want to be controlled by unelected bureaucrats. Shouldn't we, the people of this country decide who will lead us, after Cameron resigns?
Or ironically, we will be lead by an unelected bureaucrat.
