Rejected petition Ban all those leading the leave EU campaign from holding future public office

Due to amount of inaccurate information and lies used during the campaign to leave the EU the country is entering political and economic turmoil. Figures used in campaign material were inaccurate and misled the public. Those responsible for this campaign need to be held accountable.

The only way to prevent this situation from occurring again is to demonstrate that political careers cannot be built by misleading the electorate. With those involved in the campaign now discrediting their own promises whilst showing a lack of planning for events occurring in the event of a successful outcome, they have proven themselves unfit for public office in the future.
