Rejected petition Make it a legal requirement to stop and report if you hit a cat whilst driving

Everyday a much loved family pet is knocked over and it is not a legal requirement to stop! Resulting in the cat being left to die and also family not knowing a thing. Making it a legal requirement will mean a cat has a chance to get to a vet for help and get also scanned to inform family.
