Rejected petition Make it a legal requirement to report hitting a cat in with a motor vehicle

After years of it being considered appropriate to report a dog being injured in a road accident but not a cat, I feel it is of equal importance.
cat owners each year suffer the loss of a loved pet in road accidents.
Most cats are now chipped So owners could be Informed, also drivers may slow down
