Rejected petition Stop all foreign aid as it is detrimental to the UK

Our social infrastructure is collapsing. This Government cites austerity for savage cuts to the social welfare bill for this. This is false and misleading.

Our Foreign Aid budget is horrendous. We pour money into other countries whilst our elderly and vulnerable are left to rot by this shameful practice. It is unacceptable for taxpayers' money to be sent abroad whilst our own people suffer and the social infrastructure is on life-support. It is wrong, immoral and nothing less than a scandal. We know the spurious arguments for continuing with this obscenity but those arguments no longer stand up to scrutiny.
