Closed petition Reinstate - Bring Back the Right of Appeal for UK Family Visit Visas
Closed on
The basic Right of Appeal was brought in in 2000 for relatives wishing to visit their families in the United Kingdom whose visa applications were refused. That safety-net was suddenly abolished without proper consultation.
In 2013, the then Government quietly and suddenly abolished that basic right of appeal and safety net for UK citizens whose relatives from time to time wishing to visit family in the United Kingdom. Since it was abolished, refusals have increased by two folds. Please help get this government to do the right thing and bring back this very basic of rights for immediate family members who in most cases are currently being refused without reason.
