Rejected petition max life sentence for serious sexual crimes i.e rape, sexual contact with minors

a lot of local organisations are catching sexual predators, specifically adults that are intending to meet and have sexual relations with young children. When you see that said predators are being sentenced they only get up to 3 years while drug dealers can get up to 7 i feel that this is appalling.
