Rejected petition Change the way a disability is represented as a symbol

In the UK if you have a disability and meet certain criteria you are entitled to a blue badge. To most this is a huge help in everyday life however it can often come with a wave of abuse. This is usually because people associate a disability requiring a blue badge as needing a wheelchair.

More details

When this is not the case people often question why someone has a blue badge and if they deserve to park there. However if the symbol of disabled bays was to be changed and made non visible disabilities inclusive this would instantly change some people's perception.
