Rejected petition Urgent impact from government to prevent extreme consequences of climate change

In 2018, the Secretary of State for the Environment produced a 25 year Environment plan to improve the damage and harm caused by human beings. Although this is a step forward in the right direction, it is important these "targets" - some set for 2050 - come into affect much sooner than suggested.

More details

A recent report conducted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) states that we have approximately 11 to 12 years to prevent catastrophe in terms of climate change and global warming.

Urgent action needs to take place.
