Rejected petition All newly produced knives should have the pointed end removed.

The UK has a knife crime epidemic.
Many if the knives used to perpetuate stabbings have sharp pointy ends which as you can imagine cause all the damage, so I say get rid of it.
If the point isn’t there ie, a blunt end, you won’t be able to stab anyone, slash, yes, but vitales can be protected.

As a government initiative, once the new knives are produced. Have a knife amnesty with a voucher to replace old knives.
Pointed knives only to be sold to professionals chefs, butchers etc
