Rejected petition Review the cost of becoming an UK citizen for EU nationals!!

Being in UK for 6 years, working hard, paying taxes, be loyal to UK authorities, willing to became a part of UK nation but not able to do so without 2000 pounds. This includes the naturalisation tax, language test, Life in UK test and other expenses. Why that much?
