Rejected petition Lower GCSE grade boundaries to a 3 to be able to pass
Exam season can be very daunting for teenagers. Teenagers in society now deal with mental health issues more than ever. School work and exams do take a great part in teenagers and their mental health. It is extremely important for teenagers as this is the time they are preparing for their future.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak/ Covid19, students who are to sit their GCSEs next year are less advantaged than students who wouldn’t of had to go through this unfortunate event. It also puts a lot of pressure on them and they deserve something in return for their hard work and efforts. Lowering the grade boundaries to 3 would also put them at ease and reduce the anxiety they’re most likely going through. Enough stress is out on children nowadays on top of that major and important exams.
