Before 2000 road tax was based on ENGINE SIZE. after 2000 road tax is based on Co2 CARBON EMISSIONS. but the vehicles before 2000s are not environmentally friendly and there Co2 are higher. Since then the new vehicles are environmentally friendly and Co2 are less than vehicles before 2000s.

Since then the new vehicles are environmentally friendly and Co2 are less than vehicles before 2000s. So why are we pay more ROAD TAX AND RISING EVERY YEAR. Road tax should be cheaper.
And reduced for life. As new vehicles are environmentally friendly and Co2 way less than vehicles before 2000s vehicles
