Rejected petition Keep Primary School children SAFE at home!

Send secondary school children part time to school. Divide classes in half and have half in the morning and the other in the afternoon. They are older, can socially distance and are actually taking important exams.

More details

Because as a parent of 2 primary school children and an EYFS educator, I know that sending the young ones is just a recipe for disaster!

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

The exact arrangements for resuming teaching, including how to maintain social distancing, are operational decisions for individual schools, and not a matter for the Government or House of Commons.
