Rejected petition Parliament should reconvene in full before our children are sent back to school
The Government is saying schools should reopen and our children should go back. Yet parliament is still convening remotely and with good social distancing.
Prove to us that it's safe for our children and teachers by reconvening parliament in full before any schools are reopened.

Lead by example. Don't make it look like our children are being used as a test.

We can't publish petitions when the request is something that's already happening or something that has been announced since you started your petition.
We think your petition is covered by Government or Parliament action already. If you'd like something else, you could start a new petition clearly explaining what it is.
Since you started your petition the House of Commons has returned, and rules allowing all Members to participate in proceedings virtually have fallen. The House of Commons has agreed that Members who are unable to attend Westminster for medical or public health reasons related to the pandemic can attend proceedings virtually.
